How I Support Children and Families

Children flourish when they are deeply understood, supported, and given the conditions they need to feel safe, connected, and regulated.

Through nature-based occupational therapy, I support children and families by understanding the underlying patterns impacting regulation, sensory processing, development, and daily participation. Together, we identify areas where your child or family may feel stuck, while building supportive pathways toward greater ease, confidence, connection, and resilience.

Below are the ways I support children and families through relationship-centered, nature-based occupational therapy.

All services begin with a free consultation so we can explore the best fit for your child and family.

Individual pediatric occupational therapy

1:1 nature-based OT supporting regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, attention, emotional regulation, and daily participation.

Personalized, play-based sessions in natural environments that support foundational skill development and real-world participation.

Evaluation is required to begin individual services.

Forest Friends nature-based OT play groups

Small OT-led outdoor groups supporting social connection, regulation, flexibility, and confidence through play and shared nature experiences.

Children build skills through movement, interaction, and supported peer engagement in a natural setting.

A brief consultation is required to determine fit. No evaluation needed.

Parent coaching for regulation and daily life

Support for parents focused on understanding regulation, sensory needs, behavior, routines, and daily strategies.

Available for both current OT families and families seeking standalone support.

Coaching sessions are collaborative, practical, and tailored to the unique needs of your child and family.

Evaluation is not required to begin caregiver coaching.

School-based occupational therapy support

Consultation and collaboration with educators and school teams to support a child’s participation, regulation, and learning in real time within the school environment.

This may include classroom-based strategies, educator consultation, and direct in-school occupational therapy support when appropriate.

Support is embedded into the child’s natural school day to help build participation, regulation, and functional skills in real time.

Professional training and community education

Workshops and trainings for educators, schools, parents, and organizations on child development, regulation, sensory processing, and nature-based support.

Custom workshops and trainings are available upon request.
