Scheduling & Sessions

Appointments are currently available on a limited basis, with additional days and times opening in the future.
Sessions are 45 minutes and include time to connect with caregivers at the beginning or end.

Location

Empowering Roots OT provides nature-based occupational therapy in the Seacoast NH area.

Sessions take place at a designated outdoor location such as a park, trail, or natural play area. The location will be confirmed at the time of scheduling. 

In weather conditions that are unsafe to be outside, such as storms, sessions can take place at your home or in another location to be determined at that time.

Weather & Preparation

Outdoor sessions continue in most weather conditions, with adjustments as needed for comfort and safety. Please ensure your child arrives dressed for the weather (sturdy footwear, layers, rain gear, etc.).

If conditions are unsafe due to severe weather, sessions will be modified or rescheduled at no cost.

Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved just for your child. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment whenever possible.

Payment & Insurance

Full payment is due at the time of service. Empowering Roots OT is currently an out-of-network provider, and upon request, a superbill can be provided for possible out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Safety & Privacy

Your child’s safety and privacy are treated with care and professionalism. Details about confidentiality, safety guidelines, and risk acknowledgment are reviewed and agreed upon during intake before services begin.
